It is a search engine where half of all its gross profits per month are donated to charity.

If you sign up (no cost) you can nominate a charity and, depending on how much you and other members use the search engine, a donation will go to that charity. I've signed up and elected the PDS as my chosen charity.

It seems to be aligned with Ask.com to help with searches - maybe not yet as comprehensive as the bigger search engines, but it should improve if more people use it more often.
